These filters have been tested by the Weatec Technical Research Committee (WTRC). The current version of these filters are approved. The WTRC is constantly testing and re-testing filters. As new versions become available and as new filters become available, filters may be added or taken off this list. ESET Internet Security is an antivirus and parental control software package available by itself or as part of home and small business packages for Windows, Mac, and Android devices. It is installed and managed on the device, not through the cloud. The content filtering must be configured not only for each device, but also for each user account on the device. In order to eliminate a loophole that allows new user accounts to circumvent content filtering, users should be given standard (not administrator) user accounts on Windows machines. In spite of those limitations, ESET Internet Security exhibited outstanding filtering abilities in Weatec testing.

ESET Endpoint Security is business focused software package available for Windows, offering antivirus and web filtering, among other features. One reason to choose ESET Endpoint Security rather than ESET Smart Security is the ability to manage a fleet of devices from the ESET Remote Administrator console, rather than needing to log into each device. Endpoint Security offers fine-grained web filtering categories and produced excellent results when tested by the Weatec Technical Research Committee.
Approved for Network-wide Filtering & Windows PCs
SafeSentyPro, a web-filtering solution offered by Emypeople, can be used either through a proxy connection or on a hardware appliance. SafeGuardPro is a proxy only content filter. Both versions tested well at blocking content. Having an Anabaptist-run company behind the solution is also a plus. On the proxy server versions, the internet connection is dependent upon the proxy server, you will lose your connection to the internet if Emypeople’s proxy server goes offline.
